Part Qualified Accountant – Asset Management (Dublin)

About the role

Join a leading semi‑state organisation delivering affordable housing across Ireland. As a Part Qualified Accountant you will support the Cost Rental Operations team, providing management accounting, performance reporting and financial analysis to help drive sustainable community development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse monthly financial and data reports from third‑party agents and produce consolidated portfolio performance reports.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets for the cost‑rental portfolio and the Asset Management department.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as occupancy, arrears and operating expenses.
• Benchmark portfolio performance to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management with narrative commentary.
• Manage purchase orders and invoices, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Support audit processes and resolve procurement and accounts payable queries.
• Produce weekly and monthly internal reports for meetings and project reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within residential rental or property sector.
• Part‑qualified accountant or actively pursuing an accounting qualification.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Collaborative mindset with a solutions‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with property‑related IT systems and reporting tools.
