Part-Qualified Accountant – Audit & Assurance

About the role

This position offers an ambitious finance professional the chance to develop audit, assurance and accounting expertise within a collaborative, client‑focused practice. You will work on a varied portfolio of SME clients, gaining insight into the operational and financial challenges across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of audit, assurance and accounting engagements for diverse SME clients.
• Prepare management accounts, year‑end financial statements and related working papers.
• Take ownership of key workstreams, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information, resolve queries and support reporting requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of tax and statutory compliance filings as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficient delivery of client engagements.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in audit, practice or a professional services environment.
• Technically strong with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Professional, client‑focused communicator.
