Part‑Qualified Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Part‑Qualified Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves supporting day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end non‑audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet items such as VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets.
• Post journals to the accounting software with precision.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Support year‑end close processes, including the preparation of year‑end journals.
• Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns.
• Liaise confidently with clients by phone and written correspondence.
• Provide assistance to managers on special client projects and assignments.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
• Minimum of 2 + years of general accounting practice experience.
• Results‑driven with strong technical abilities and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer care.
• Highly organized with strong planning abilities.
