Payroll Executive

About the role

SD Worx is seeking a Payroll Executive to join its growing team in Ireland. You will deliver managed payroll services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting colleagues and contributing to team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage your workload to deliver client payrolls by agreed deadlines.
• Validate, input and correct payroll data before the live run.
• Handle routine and complex payroll and HR queries, liaising with internal teams and external bodies such as tax offices.
• Support customers throughout the payroll cycle to ensure accurate payments and reports.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and manage tax year‑end processing for assigned clients.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and provide regular performance statistics to team leaders.
• Identify and propose process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Deputise for the Operations Team Manager when required, including decision‑making and team performance support.
