PCB Assembly Operator

About the role

Moog is looking for a skilled Operator to join its Conformal Coating Team in Carrigaline. You will support normal production activities, ensuring high‑quality assembly of printed circuit boards and related mechanical hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, PCB cleaning, and baking equipment to complete specified tasks.
• Prepare components for manual assembly and apply adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Use torque tools for fastening specific components according to SOPs.
• Perform manual PCB and mechanical hardware assembly following drawings and process procedures.
• Set up equipment, carry out process‑related measurements, and conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components per established criteria.
• Complete production documentation and transact work orders using the ERP system.
• Adhere to safety, anti‑static, and housekeeping requirements, wearing prescribed safety equipment.

Required profile

• Proven commitment to quality and production targets.
• Positive, flexible attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• 2–3 years of experience in electronic assembly or a similar manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Personable and able to work comfortably with a variety of people.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC‑7711, IPC‑7721, and IPC J‑Standard specifications.
• Proficiency with torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
• Experience applying adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Ability to operate an ERP system for work‑order processing.
