Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant – Community Pharmacy

About the role

We are looking for a Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant to join our Allcare Pharmacy team in Artane. You will support the Managing Pharmacist in delivering excellent customer service, providing product advice, and maintaining a well‑stocked, safe pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all pharmacy ranges, consulting the Managing Pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain stock control: rotate stock, monitor levels, liaise with suppliers, and verify deliveries.
• Deliver professional, efficient customer service, enhancing relationships with pharmacy patrons.
• Assist in all areas of pharmacy operations, adapting to the needs of the team.
• Handle over‑the‑counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and refer to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Ensure cash and receipt handling follows security procedures.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy, and report health‑and‑safety issues promptly.
• Participate in training and development programmes offered by the pharmacy.
