Planner – Demand and Production Scheduling

About the role

The Planner will act as the primary interface with customers for demand planning and shipment information. You will develop feasible operational plans, own their execution, and continuously improve planning performance to ensure customer satisfaction while minimizing Jabil liability.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and customers to create a joint demand plan using the Demand Management Process.
• Develop a Master Schedule through material and capacity sizing analysis.
• Load the Master Schedule into Jabil’s ERP system and maintain a feasible production plan.
• Work closely with operations to ensure successful execution of the production plan.
• Generate revenue forecasts, monitor actual performance, and initiate corrective actions when targets are at risk.
• Track planning metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company security policies and procedural rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1‑2 years of materials‑related experience, or a Master’s degree without experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in basic algebra and geometry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, write routine reports, and present information to groups.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil’s proprietary software packages.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
