Planning & Distribution Executive

About the role

Gowan Auto, a leading importer and distributor of multiple motor brands in Ireland, is looking for a Planning & Distribution Executive. Reporting to the Head of Production and Planning, you will support monthly forecasting, ordering, and the end‑to‑end flow of vehicles from the Stellantis factory to dealers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily, weekly and monthly summary reports.
• Assist with monthly and yearly planning and forecasting.
• Monitor end‑to‑end production, from factory to dealer.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and timeliness of sales performance data across all reporting outputs.
• Act as the central operational link between the import operation and the dealer network.
• Support daily logistics operations and KPI tracking.
• Engage in stock management, ordering and allocation activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information on new models for SIMI, Revenue and internal systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience and understanding of the automotive industry.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to work under tight manufacturer deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and strong prioritisation abilities.
• Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a dynamic team.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
