Plasma Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

The Plasma Operator will join a dynamic production team that manufactures heavy‑duty rock trommels and conveyors. Working under the Production Supervisor, you will help turn raw steel into finished components while meeting strict production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret technical plans and drawings to determine measurements and processing steps.
• Process and prepare raw steel for production.
• Meet daily production targets while maximising efficiency.
• Ensure safe, controlled movement of production parts.
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives as part of the team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, reliably and independently.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
