PR & Communications Executive

About the role

Ryanair is seeking a proactive PR & Communications Executive to join its Communications team at the Dublin headquarters. The role will support the airline’s media coverage across Europe, helping to promote new routes, policy initiatives and other business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Ryanair’s communication strategy across the 36 countries of operation.
• Manage press queries and prepare media statements.
• Draft press releases, presentations and other press materials, ensuring timely and error‑free delivery.
• Coordinate media and stakeholder events.
• Pitch interviews and produce strategic briefing documents for senior management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information and strengthen communications.
• Monitor media coverage and conduct analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in public relations, communications, journalism or a related field (in‑house or agency).
• Highly organised and able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment handling multiple projects.
• Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication abilities.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Interest in the aviation industry is a plus.
