Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of alternative asset and accounting services in Dublin, is expanding its Private Equity Fund Accounting team. Reporting to the Vice President, you will deliver high‑quality administration services to a diverse portfolio of private equity and real‑estate funds while acting as a primary contact for investment managers and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of 2‑3 staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and high performance.
• Manage end‑to‑end fund accounting workflows, including NAV preparation, performance fees, waterfalls and capital calls.
• Oversee journal entries, general and sub‑ledger maintenance, and capital call processing.
• Serve as a key point of contact for high‑profile investment managers and investors, maintaining exceptional client service.
• Assist with fund launches, process improvement initiatives, change‑management projects and review of Limited Partnership Agreements.

Required profile

• Ambitious Supervisor or Manager with 1‑3 years experience in private equity or real‑estate fund accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and manage complex accounting tasks.
• Strong client‑facing skills and a proactive approach to relationship building.
• Accountancy qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills
