Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer will lead end‑to‑end optimisation of processes and plant operations across production. Working closely with Production, Quality and cross‑functional teams, you will ensure that manufacturing processes are robust, efficient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full process and plant optimisation across all production areas.
• Develop deep technical knowledge to become the subject‑matter expert and support production‑related issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, test and implement new or improved processes.
• Use Change Control Systems to obtain approval for process modifications and coordinate implementation with Production.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to production staff.
• Leverage data insights to identify performance trends and recommend targeted interventions.
• Lead process improvement projects applying Lean, Six Sigma and project‑management methodologies.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a process engineering role within a regulated manufacturing or precision‑engineering environment.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in machining, machine building or fabrication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Project management experience.
• Data analysis and trend identification.
