Process Shift Operator

About the role

Indaver is seeking a permanent full‑time Process Shift Operator to join its Meath Production Team. You will autonomously control and execute the day‑to‑day operations of the waste‑to‑energy plant, ensuring safe and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the incineration process, flue‑gas cleaning, steam condensate system and electricity production via the plant’s process computer.
• Maintain continuous plant operation at capacity while respecting licence parameters.
• Accept consumables according to delivery specifications.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance actions, including lubrication and cleaning of equipment.
• Work safely and contribute to a safe workplace for all staff.
• Participate in a team‑driven shift pattern with a shift allowance.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate with technical subjects or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a process‑industry environment such as metallurgy, basic materials, power plant, petrochemicals or mass‑production.
• Experience in a similar operational role.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance is an advantage.
