Process Technician – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Shift)

About the role

Sanmina Fermoy is seeking a Process Technician for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role works 12‑hour rotating shifts, including days, nights and weekends, supporting the production of Class III medical devices in a highly automated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise machine performance to achieve planned production output.
• Troubleshoot product defects, process issues and equipment faults; adjust and set up machinery as required.
• Support engineering during commissioning and validation of new high‑volume equipment.
• Contribute to safety, quality, compliance and continuous‑improvement targets.
• Identify and escalate critical errors to senior support and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in electrical, mechanical or fitting trade discipline.
• At least 12 months experience in automation control, tool‑making, maintenance, electrical or mechanical roles.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver with ability to work under shift patterns.
