Process Technician – Day Shift (Medical Device Manufacturing)

About the role

The Process Technician supports equipment and processes in a medical device manufacturing facility in Galway. This position is on the day shift (07:30‑15:30, Monday‑Friday) and works closely with a small team of technicians and production core teams.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and escalate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to investigate scrap and yield issues related to equipment and processes.
• Record maintenance activities in internal systems and provide yield updates using PowerPoint.
• Utilise SQL databases (training provided) to retrieve equipment data and optimise performance.
• Ensure all tasks adhere to safety standards and quality protocols.
• Participate in handovers via Teams and Excel.
