Procurement and Supplier Development Manager – AWS Infrastructure

About the role

The Procurement and Supplier Development Manager will lead the sourcing, onboarding, and performance management of third‑party services required for the operation of AWS data‑center infrastructure worldwide. You will work within the IPS Procurement Category Management organization to develop strategic category strategies, drive competitive tendering, and negotiate contracts that support AWS’s high‑availability, low‑cost cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers delivering services to AWS data‑center, colocation, and edge facilities.
• Develop and execute category strategies that align with business needs and sustainability goals.
• Conduct competitive tender processes, negotiate terms, and prepare work orders.
• Perform in‑depth market analysis and cross‑functional collaboration to drive cost reductions, risk mitigation, and supply‑base resiliency.
• Facilitate innovation from suppliers to enhance AWS infrastructure capabilities.
