About the role

The Business Continuity Management (BCM) team is looking for a proactive professional to maintain and enhance our continuity artefacts, training programmes and crisis response plans. You will work closely with stakeholders across the retail banking division to ensure resilience against emerging risks.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and update all BCM artefacts (templates, processes, BIA’s, contact listings) in line with current guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date content on the internal BCM web page and create or refresh learning material as needed.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging training sessions for key stakeholders.
  • Support the design and execution of BCM scenario exercises, call‑out tests and alternative seat allocation planning.
  • Facilitate, record and report on all exercises, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing Crisis and Incident Management Plans and coordinate their testing.
  • Monitor global events for potential continuity risks and propose improvements to the BCM programme.
  • Provide flexible coverage across the wider Operational Team, developing a broad skill set.

Required profile

  • Minimum three years of experience in business continuity, incident management, business assurance or risk management.
  • Strong working knowledge of the retail banking sector.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

    What we offer

    • 6‑month PAYE contract with an annual salary of £42,000.
    • 23 days of annual leave plus paid public holidays.
