Procurement Specialist – Hybrid (Dublin Area)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Dublin‑area team on a hybrid basis. You will support Convergint Operations Directors, Project and Site Managers by managing end‑to‑end purchasing activities for projects, small works, services and third‑party logistics providers.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders for project materials, subcontractor services, system training, IT stock and subscriptions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners to confirm order acknowledgements, lead times, delivery dates and site‑specific requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and service scope within defined authority to protect project profitability.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including savings trackers, supplier SLAs and records of POs, confirmations and deliveries.
• Ensure all purchases comply with internal procurement policies and align with project budgets and schedules.
• Support cross‑functional teams such as Logistics, After‑Sales, and Design when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a service‑integrator or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of the procure‑to‑pay process and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple purchase orders simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder coordination.
