Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Swords, Dublin. The role involves preparing, mixing, packaging, and labelling chemical reagents in a regulated environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing and packaging operations to produce high‑quality products.
• Handle production materials and chemicals – store, retrieve, mix, and monitor usage.
• Ensure full compliance with the Quality Management System, GMP requirements, and related documentation.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment to maintain efficiency.
• Accurately record production data (ingredients, weights, temperatures, inspections) in relevant systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support efficient workflows and meet operational targets.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining QMS documentation, SOPs, and validation records.
• Complete required training on manufacturing processes, product handling, and shipment procedures.
• Maintain GMP cleanliness, housekeeping, and adhere to EHS policies.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor to support operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in medical device, IVD, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience in IVD product manufacturing is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
• Excellent communication and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Proactive, accountable approach with ownership of tasks.
• Previous quality control or laboratory experience in a regulated environment is a plus.
• Relevant third‑level qualification (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Materials Science) is beneficial.
