Production Operator – Manufacturing (Swords, Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Swords, Dublin. The role involves preparing, mixing, packaging, and labeling chemical reagents in a regulated environment, with a strong focus on quality, safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing and packaging operations to produce high‑quality products.
• Handle production materials and chemicals, including storage, retrieval, mixing and monitoring.
• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot production equipment to maintain efficiency.
• Record production data such as ingredients, weights, temperatures and inspection results in the relevant systems.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, GMP requirements and all manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support efficient workflows and meet operational targets.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining QMS documentation, including SOPs and validation records.
• Maintain GMP cleanliness, housekeeping and adhere to EHS policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in medical device, IVD, pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience in a regulated environment with a solid understanding of GMP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, accountable attitude with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
• Relevant third‑level qualification in Quality, Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related field is advantageous.
