Production Operator – PCB Assembly

About the role

Moog is seeking a Production Operator to join its PCB production team in Carrigaline, Ireland. You will work on a variety of assembly tasks, supporting both routine production and prototype projects under engineering guidance. The role offers the chance to develop hands‑on expertise with electronic manufacturing equipment in a collaborative, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly, cleaning, and baking equipment to build printed circuit boards (PCBs) and related mechanical hardware.
• Prepare components, apply adhesives and conformal coatings, and use torque tools for precise fastener installation.
• Set up equipment, perform process‑related measurements, and carry out routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components according to established criteria.
• Document production activities and process data using the company ERP system.
• Follow all safety, anti‑static, and housekeeping procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electronic or PCB assembly or a closely related field.
• Strong commitment to quality and production targets.
• Detail‑oriented with good problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work well with diverse team members.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC 7711/IPC 7721 and IPC J‑Standard specifications.
• Experience operating PCB assembly, cleaning, and baking equipment.
• Proficiency with torque tools and adhesive/conformal coating application.
• Ability to use an ERP system for work‑order processing and documentation.
