Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead the evening and night shifts at our plant in Clonee, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality output. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee operatives, equipment and raw‑material supplies while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce health & safety procedures, conduct toolbox talks and report incidents.
• Monitor attendance, performance and absenteeism; manage shift swaps as needed.
• Drive production to meet targets, supervise plant downtime activities and coordinate maintenance responses.
• Manage inventories of cement, pigment, admixture and aggregates, and communicate raw‑material needs.
• Oversee mould and product changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Complete end‑of‑shift reports covering production, safety observations and material issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising manufacturing or production teams on shift work.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and PPE compliance.
• Ability to analyse production data and act on bottlenecks quickly.
• Good communication skills for reporting to management and coordinating with other shifts.

• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation.

• First‑aid awareness and safety audit procedures.
