Project Engineer – Site Coordination & HVAC

About the role

Silent Aire, a Johnson Controls company, is looking for a Project Engineer to support the delivery of HVAC solutions for data‑center and mission‑critical facilities. You will work closely with Project Managers, contractors and client teams to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day‑to‑day coordination and execution of multiple projects.
• Communicate with general contractors and client teams on‑site, escalating issues as needed.
• Produce concise reports for senior management and monitor commercial impacts of delays.
• Control project costs, ensure budget compliance and deliver high‑quality products.
• Translate client requirements into practical site timelines and streamline installation and commissioning processes.
• Chair lessons‑learned, RAID and site meetings while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Coordinate internal deliverables across Engineering, Manufacturing and QA/QC.
• Support procurement, mentor team members and apply minor design adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Travel internationally to support site execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a site‑managerial role within manufacturing or construction.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong understanding of customer expectations and quality standards.
• Highly organized, detail‑focused, proactive and solution‑driven.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) and a full driver’s licence.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems for data‑center environments.
