Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of multiple construction contracts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the Project Director, you will collaborate with internal teams and clients to drive successful outcomes and foster long‑term customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution strategies, including vendor and subcontractor selection.
• Build and manage effective construction supervision teams across multiple sites.
• Partner with EHS officers to define site safety requirements, conduct incident investigations, and handle near‑miss reporting.
• Maintain and grow client relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Plan all project phases from initiation through closure, performing critical‑path analysis and risk mitigation.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, and Estimating to streamline contract execution.
• Chair internal and client meetings to align on project goals.
• Oversee construction managers’ reporting and earned‑value tracking for accurate cost forecasting.
• Manage commercial aspects of contracts in close liaison with the commercial team.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with resource managers for mobilisation and demobilisation of site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and achieve timely final acceptance of contracts.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Project Management Certificate or Diploma.
