Project Manager – Energy & Decarbonisation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex mechanical, electrical and energy infrastructure projects for industrial facilities. The role will oversee the full project lifecycle, from scoping and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple energy and decarbonisation projects across industrial sites, managing all phases including planning, procurement, installation, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, equipment vendors and internal engineering groups, acting as the primary liaison.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource plans using MS Dynamics.
• Prepare budgets, track costs, manage change orders and collaborate with finance to monitor cash flow and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and client‑specific protocols, leading quality assurance and commissioning validation.
• Identify project risks early, maintain risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
• Produce accurate project documentation, dashboards and executive summaries for internal and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering mechanical, electrical or energy infrastructure projects in industrial environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of safety, environmental and quality standards applicable to industrial projects.
• Experience preparing budgets, tracking costs and working closely with finance teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
