Project Manager – PMO Office (Hybrid, Daily Rate)

About the role

The Project Manager will support core PMO activities for a large, globally distributed programme in a highly regulated financial services environment. This hybrid role (three days on‑site) focuses on governance, reporting, financial management, workforce planning and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly status reports and management materials for senior stakeholders.
• Support governance routines covering financials, change, programme delivery, project reporting and workforce management.
• Create, maintain and improve reporting artefacts using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneDrive, Copilot and SharePoint.
• Engage regularly with project teams to capture progress, risks, issues, dependencies and follow‑up actions.
• Tailor communications for different audiences, including senior management and delivery teams.
• Chair meetings, record minutes, track actions and ensure completion.
• Administer SharePoint sites, permissions and relevant email distribution groups.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a PMO role supporting a large programme, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience using tools for financial management, programme reporting, governance and workforce planning.
• Proven ability to work in a highly regulated, globally distributed environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail and ownership.
