Project Specialist II – IT Hardware Logistics

About the role

The Project Specialist II will deliver and maintain network and hardware solutions for external events, including consumer‑facing showcases and developer workshops. Working closely with product, marketing and external agencies, the specialist ensures seamless event execution at client sites and trade shows.

Key responsibilities

• Drive client projects and events from inception through retrospective, managing schedules with minimal supervision.
• Gather event requirements, coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors, and oversee logistics such as booking, travel, and expense reporting.
• Prepare devices for distribution, including software updates, flashing, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Define project measurables, monitor progress, resolve issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Generate and communicate metrics to stakeholders and maintain documentation of material flow and SOPs.
• Provide hands‑on event support, including unpacking, packing, and transporting equipment during peak periods.

Required profile

• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to build productive internal and external relationships.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to multitask across multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % to support onsite events.
• Ability to perform office tasks, move within an office environment, and use a computer effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Hardware troubleshooting and device flashing.
• Software update procedures for distributed devices.
• Understanding of project or program management involving internal and external parties.
