Purchasing Analyst – Global Procurement & Contracts

About the role

As a Purchasing Analyst at Verizon, you will drive global procurement and contract management activities, ensuring optimal purchase decisions that align with business objectives. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to execute contracts while maintaining compliance with IT, regulatory, and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end contract and procurement processes, from sourcing to execution.
• Coordinate resources and partners to ensure timely contract implementation and compliance.
• Lead project planning, resource coordination, and stakeholder reporting.
• Establish budgets, manage exceptions, and resolve contractual issues.
• Assist project managers with all contracting matters.
• Ensure adherence to global clearance, import/export, and legal requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration between sourcing, legal, and project teams.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building skills with external partners and suppliers.
• Ability to navigate conflict and achieve positive outcomes.
• Comfort working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; engineering or technology background is a plus.
