Purchasing Specialist – FMCG Manufacturing (Dublin)

About the role
The company is a well‑known food manufacturing operation looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join its Supply Chain team in Dublin. You will be responsible for managing the purchase of food ingredients and packaging, ensuring a reliable supply for production.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the purchasing process for a variety of food ingredients and packaging.
- Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials and ingredients.
- Monitor in‑house stock levels to ensure continuous production supply.
- Collaborate with the forecasting and planning team to anticipate future needs.
- Analyse orders and delivery schedules to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Identify and resolve issues in the purchasing process to prevent disruptions.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in Purchasing or Supply Chain (advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing role, preferably within food manufacturing.
