QA Inspector – Night Shift (12‑hour)

About the role

This permanent, onsite position is based in Dexcom's new European manufacturing site in Athenry. The role works a fixed night‑shift schedule (12 hours, 7 pm – 7 am) on a repeating 4‑on/3‑off – 3‑on/4‑off pattern. The inspector operates in a cleanroom environment and ensures that every lot meets regulatory, quality and safety requirements before release.

Key responsibilities

• Review in‑process and final product documentation for correct format, signatures, dating and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Conduct in‑process product inspections and testing according to specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare, record and update inspection report forms.
• Execute Lot Release transactions in the designated system.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, Process Engineers and other functions to resolve release‑related issues.

Required profile

• Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
• Willingness to work a permanent night‑shift schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Understanding of regulatory, quality and safety standards for medical devices.
