Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector will join Moog’s production team in Carrigaline, Ireland, ensuring that all products meet the required standards before they leave the facility. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for in‑process, incoming and outgoing inspections, supporting both the production line and the customer delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect products and related documentation against applicable standards, specifications and procedures.
• Record inspection results, communicate any non‑conformances and maintain accurate traceability.
• Release goods for shipment by generating certificates of conformance and compiling required customer documentation.
• File and archive inspection records in accordance with operating procedures.
• Assist Production Team Leaders to ensure priority tasks are completed on time.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities such as LEAN and 5S.
• Provide support to fellow Quality Inspectors, Operators and Test Technicians as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing and familiarity with relevant inspection standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and operating procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive attitude.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the IPC‑A‑610 inspection standard.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing inspection processes.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.
