Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician will support Sanmina's Fermoy facility in delivering high‑quality medical devices by monitoring, controlling, and improving customer‑related processes. This onsite role works closely with the Quality Operations Lead and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support definition, set‑up, verification and continuous improvement of quality processes.
• Perform in‑process testing, including weekly leak and burst tests to verify product sealing.
• Verify critical process parameters (CPPs) and conduct line‑clearance activities.
• Carry out internal process audits and support external audits by demonstrating testing requirements.
• Investigate and resolve non‑conformances and supplier quality issues.
• Conduct weekly environmental monitoring of ISO Class 8 cleanrooms.
• Prepare and review sterile release packs, including endotoxin and bioburden test reports.
• Support SMT line first‑off verifications and unplanned maintenance approvals across assembly lines.
• Determine lot suitability for release by reviewing production logs and batch records.
• Review and approve Design History Records (DHR) against documentation requirements.
• Interact daily with MES and Oracle Agile systems to ensure correct product assembly.

Required profile

• Experience performing in‑process and leak/burst testing in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of critical process parameters, line clearance, and internal audit procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO Class 8 cleanroom monitoring and sterile release testing.
• Ability to investigate non‑conformances and support corrective actions.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and Oracle Agile.
