Quality Technician – Shift Work (3 on/4 off)

About the role

This position provides comprehensive quality support to both Manufacturing and R&D processes in a world‑class production environment. Working on a shift schedule (8 am‑8 pm, 3 days on, 4 days off), the Quality Technician ensures that incoming materials and electronic/mechanical modules meet all defined specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, visual and functional checks on incoming materials and modules.
• Interpret engineering drawings and carry out dimensional inspections.
• Gather, analyse and present shop‑floor data to support problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions, including root‑cause investigations and mitigation plans.
• Execute in‑process quality control (IPQC) procedures and internal audits.
• Manage controlled builds, line trials and quality experiments.
• Raise and track quality notifications, bulletins and BOM issues.
• Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment, preferably within electronics or mechanical assembly.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
• Good communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external vendors.
