About the role
Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Receptionist/Admin Support Grade I to join its Children Services team at the Lavanagh Centre in Curraheen, Cork. This permanent part‑time position involves welcoming visitors, handling phone enquiries and providing a broad range of administrative assistance to support the service.
Key responsibilities
- Manage front‑of‑house duties including greeting visitors, answering calls and directing enquiries.
- Maintain reception area tidiness and ensure a professional first impression.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
- Support the team with scheduling, correspondence and basic reporting.
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects as required by the service manager.
Required profile
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of one year experience in a reception or front‑of‑house role.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Full clean driver’s licence and access to personal transport.
- Desirable: formal administration qualification, experience in healthcare or disability services, ECDL or similar computer certification.
Required skills
- ECDL (or equivalent computer literacy).
What we offer
- Permanent part‑time contract – 14.25 hours per week (Monday‑Friday).
- Salary range €11,553 – €18,725 per annum (subject to increments).
- 30 days pro‑rated annual leave.
