About the role

Laharts Volkswagen is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Receptionist / Showroom Host to join their Kilkenny dealership. This full‑time position is focused on delivering a professional first impression to visitors and ensuring smooth administrative support for the sales and after‑sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Welcome customers and visitors to the showroom with warmth and professionalism.
• Build rapport with showroom guests and guide them through their visit.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Sales and Aftersales departments.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and presentable reception and waiting area at all times.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional with excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication abilities.
• Polished appearance, personable demeanor and a "can‑do" attitude.
• Clear and polite telephone manner.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with at least two years of reception experience.
