Record-to-Report Accountant – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

About the role

This hybrid accountant position joins West Pharmaceutical Services' Global Financial Centre of Excellence. Reporting to the Controller, you will support month‑end close, statutory reporting and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports in accordance with US GAAP.
• Post and review month‑end journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Execute balance‑sheet reconciliations and multi‑currency bank reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis and support statutory reporting, including VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and assist with audit processes.
• Identify and drive automation and process‑improvement opportunities using SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine and other reporting tools.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Experience with month‑end close, journal entries, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with inter‑company accounting, multi‑currency transactions and tax reporting.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with auditors and cross‑functional finance teams.
