Regional EHS Leader – EMEA

About the role

Johnson & Johnson (through its future standalone orthopaedics company DePuy Synthes) is seeking a senior leader to serve as the Regional EHS&S Lead for the EMEA region. The role will be based in one of several locations (Ringaskiddy, Suzhou, Tokyo, Leeds or Singapore) and will become part of DePuy Synthes after the planned business separation.

Key responsibilities

• Set and drive the regional Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) strategy across the EMEA footprint.
• Establish governance frameworks and risk‑posture guidelines to protect enterprise value.
• Align EHS&S initiatives with business performance goals and ensure sustainable operations.
• Collaborate with local sites, regulatory bodies and employee representative groups during the transition to DePuy Synthes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in Environmental Health & Safety within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement EHS strategies and governance structures.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
