Regulatory Response Analyst (Malay) – Trust & Safety

About the role

The Regulatory Response Analyst (Malay) joins TikTok’s Trust & Safety team to protect our global community. You will be on the front line, managing high‑risk regulatory incidents and coordinating rapid responses with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve reported incidents across multiple channels, providing time‑sensitive responses to government reports, community partner alerts, and emerging safety challenges.
• Coordinate with Risk Containment, Public Policy, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to contain crises and implement mitigation actions.
• Analyse incident trends, systems and data to recommend improvements to processes, policies, and detection tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders using data‑driven insights to translate frontline signals into product and policy enhancements.
• Conduct market data reviews, identify root causes, and embed lessons learned into operational tooling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in fast‑paced environments, preferably in Trust & Safety, incident, policy, risk or crisis management.
• Strong knowledge of the Southeast Asia region with fluency in Malay and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work across diverse teams.
• Proven project‑management ability to drive change from conception to execution.
• Flexibility to work global hours and occasional weekend rotations.
• Awareness of cultural sensitivities and regional differences in harmful‑content definitions.
