Retail Assistant

About the role

As a Retail Assistant at Holland & Barrett you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking health and wellness advice. You will help create a welcoming store environment while supporting shoppers on their wellness journey.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through product choices and provide trusted health advice.
• Keep shelves stocked, maintain attractive displays and ensure promotions run smoothly.
• Uphold high standards of compliance, safety and overall store presentation.
• Complete the Qualified to Advise training to deepen product knowledge.
• Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with the team to meet store targets and deliver excellent results.
• Act as a Health and Wellness Ambassador for every visitor.

Required profile

• Natural communicator with strong people skills.
• Passionate about health, wellness and eager to keep learning.
• Team player who can multitask, stay organised and work efficiently.
• Comfortable using technology such as tablets for product reviews.
• Previous retail or customer‑facing experience is a plus, but attitude and enthusiasm are essential.
