Revenue Accounting Manager – SaaS

About the role

This position leads the end‑to‑end Lead to Cash finance lifecycle for a fast‑growing global SaaS organisation. You will shape and scale revenue accounting processes, ensuring they are automated, controlled and aligned with IFRS 15 in a complex, international recurring‑revenue environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the finance lead for the full Lead to Cash process, including revenue recognition, billing logic, deferred revenue, accounts receivable and cash conversion.
• Ensure accounting treatment complies with IFRS 15 and commercial contract structures.
• Partner with Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Legal, Billing, Credit Control, FP&A and Systems teams to design scalable, system‑enabled processes.
• Drive automation of reconciliations, controls and reporting to reduce manual spreadsheet work.
• Collaborate with Systems and Data teams on revenue architecture and process optimisation.
• Manage revenue and Lead to Cash close processes, improving predictability, controls and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in Big 4 audit/accounting advisory or a large‑scale SaaS/recurring‑revenue environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience in finance transformation, process redesign or systems‑enabled controls.
• Commercial awareness and ability to translate business models into revenue and cash outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
