Revenue Controller

About the role

Semperis is seeking a Revenue Controller to join its finance team. You will ensure accurate revenue recognition, support monthly and annual close processes, and partner with customer‑facing teams to drive financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with US GAAP.
• Review customer and partner agreements to confirm proper billing and ASC‑606 revenue recognition.
• Prepare revenue recognition entries, analytics, and deferred revenue reconciliations.
• Generate and maintain reports for ARR and other business needs.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects to improve workflows and coordinate with auditors.
• Develop and document internal controls and finance policies.
• Act as a business partner to support customer‑facing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• 3+ years experience at a Big 4 firm or 2+ years in a public‑company, high‑tech, or SaaS environment.
• Strong expertise in revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 606).
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
