Sales Assistant – Retail – Tralee

About the role

Smyths Toys is looking for enthusiastic Sales Assistants to join its Tralee superstore on a temporary basis. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, helping families find the perfect toys while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, high‑quality customer service and identify customer needs.
• Operate the tills and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy store environment and keep shelves stocked.
• Process deliveries, perform price changes and stock replenishment.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge to advise customers effectively.

Required profile

• Flexible availability to work across all shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience is desirable, especially in outdoor, nursery, gaming or warehouse areas, but not mandatory.
• Positive attitude, team‑oriented and able to thrive in a dynamic setting.
