SAP Basis Architect (Senior Consultant)

About the role

Sogeti is looking for an experienced SAP Basis Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise‑wide SAP landscapes. You will shape the technical roadmap, ensure high availability, and drive cloud migration initiatives across ECC, S/4HANA and related SAP components.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with overall IT strategy.
• Design scalable, high‑availability SAP environments for ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM and other modules.
• Lead SAP Basis activities including installations, upgrades, patches, migrations and HANA database performance tuning.
• Drive SAP cloud migrations (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrate SAP with middleware and third‑party solutions.
• Implement monitoring, disaster‑recovery, backup strategies and ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor and guide Basis teams across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Basis administration and architectural experience.
• Proven expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, including HANA database administration.
• Strong background with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of SAP integration tools such as PI/PO and CPI.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
