SAP Solutions Architect – Strategic Roadmap & Transformation

About the role

This organisation is entering a critical phase of its SAP transformation and needs a senior SAP Solutions Architect to shape the strategic roadmap, define the target‑state architecture and support the Head of Product in communicating the transformation plan.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Product to define and mature a 12–36 month SAP roadmap.
• Assess the current SAP and enterprise landscape, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Develop a target‑state solution architecture covering applications, integrations, data, security and reporting.
• Establish architecture governance, design standards and decision‑making frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into high‑level solution designs and prioritize transformation initiatives.
• Provide architectural oversight across SAP projects and change initiatives.
• Define integration principles for SAP and non‑SAP platforms.
• Support business case development and executive‑level presentations.
• Identify technical and delivery risks and recommend mitigation actions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven track record with SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience in early‑stage transformation environments where roadmap definition is key.
• Good understanding of integration architecture, master data, security and governance.
