SAP UAT Manager – S/4HANA Transformation

About the role

We are supporting a client on a major SAP S/4HANA transformation and need an experienced SAP UAT Manager to build and lead the User Acceptance Testing workstream. This contract position offers hybrid working with occasional on‑site presence in Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the UAT strategy for the SAP S/4HANA programme.
• Design the UAT framework, governance, processes and testing approach from scratch.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end UAT activities with business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with SAP implementation partners and internal delivery teams.
• Manage defect tracking, issue resolution and reporting throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Ensure business readiness and a smooth transition to go‑live.
• Provide clear communication and regular updates to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing UAT on SAP transformation programmes.
• Strong SAP functional or domain knowledge, preferably with S/4HANA exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to create UAT strategies, test plans and test cases from the ground up.
• Solid understanding of UAT governance, defect management and business readiness.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to guide business users through structured testing activities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ireland when required.
