Security Officer – Full-time Permanent Role

About the role

The Convention Centre Dublin is seeking two full‑time Security Officers to join its 24‑hour security team. You will help protect assets, ensure visitor safety, and support a world‑class conference venue in the heart of Dublin.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol internal and external areas of the venue.
• Monitor CCTV and operate the control room.
• Respond to fire and intruder alarms.
• Manage contractor access and goods movement.
• Escort cash as required and conduct bag searches.
• Check identification badges and issue daily access passes.
• Perform end‑of‑day clearing duties and report facility maintenance needs.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and act in incident response.
• Complete daily reporting and implement emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Active Static Guarding PSA licence (mandatory).
• DSP licence (desirable).
• First Aid qualification (desirable).
• Strong customer‑service focus.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
