Security Officer – Part‑time Weekend Nights

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Security Officer to join Securitas in Cork, working weekend night shifts (22 hours per week). The role focuses on preventing loss, damage or inconvenience for our client and its customers while maintaining a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all required training and follow the published Assignment Instructions for the site.
• Monitor CCTV systems where required and report any health & safety hazards immediately.
• Stay alert to potential threats, intervene when necessary and involve colleagues if a situation becomes threatening.
• Record detailed incident notes promptly for inclusion in incident reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional telephone manner.

Required profile

• Fluent English.
• Minimum six months experience in a similar security role.
• Availability to work weekend night shifts.
• Valid PSA licence (preferred) and Safe Pass (preferred).
• Own transport (preferred).

Required skills

• PC skills.
• First Aid training (desirable).
