Senior Accountant – Property Management

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the finance function of our fast‑growing property‑management start‑up in Dublin. You will shape financial strategy, oversee day‑to‑day operations and support the CEO in scaling the business.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting and budgeting aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on capital allocation, new service lines and investment opportunities.
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, cash flow, billing, payroll, tax and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and maintain robust financial systems, controls and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Manage insurance and ensure compliance with Irish and EU regulations (tax, VAT, GDPR).
- Build and lead a small finance team, establishing best‑practice policies and procedures.
- Handle property‑specific finance tasks such as service charge accounting, trust fund management and client fund reconciliations.
Required profile
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent finance degree.
- Significant finance leadership experience, preferably in property, real‑estate services or SMEs.
- Strong commercial acumen with analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Minimum 5 years of senior accounting experience.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Required skills
- Experience with property management software.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
