Senior Architect

About the role

We are partnering with an established architectural practice in Galway to find a Senior Architect who will lead the delivery of complex projects across healthcare, education, residential and workplace sectors. The role operates within a BIM‑led environment, guiding projects from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of multi‑sector projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Manage project lifecycles from concept, design development, construction documentation to handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain client relationships throughout the project.
• Drive BIM Level 2 implementation using Revit workflows.

Required profile

• RIAI or RIBA registered architect.
• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience, including complex project delivery.
• Proven leadership, team management and client‑facing communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working in Ireland or the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• In‑depth knowledge of BIM processes, including BIM Level 2.
