Senior Auditor

About the role
Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its internal audit team. In this role you will help improve control environments, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence across BBH businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and document control evaluations both individually and as part of project teams.
- Analyze and organize audit data, summarising findings for management review.
- Assess and escalate issues identified during audits or special projects.
- Participate in audit results discussions with management.
- Apply current and emerging audit tools and techniques for data analysis.
- Conduct technical research using external and internal sources.
- Perform testing and execute components of the audit program.
- Utilise the automated work‑papers system to document audit work throughout the engagement.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
- 3‑5 years of experience in audit or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex issues to senior management.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, sharing information and supporting colleagues.
- Effective prioritisation of multiple tasks.
